Built World Podcast

Bob Benyo - Founder & CEO, Aerial Banners

Ben Hoffman & Felipe Azenha Episode 34

In this episode, we hit the road and land in Bob Benyo's North Miami Man Cave, surrounded by his vintage Kawasaki and Suzuki motorcycle collection, for The Built World Podcast. Bob, a high school dropout turned serial entrepreneur, shares his wild journey. He started in Daytona Beach at a motorcycle tech school, then bought and sold motorcycles and cars before diving into the flight school business. Realizing there wasn't much money in teaching people to fly, he pivoted to using his planes for aerial banners.

Today, Aerial Banners operates over 60 planes across 15 states, and Bob is developing 141,000 sq ft of hangar and office space at North Perry Airport. Bobby's Landing will be a full-service FBO (Fixed Base Operator) offering fuel, on-site maintenance, and more.

So, pour yourself a glass of Basil Hayden and join us for a hilarious ride as Bob recounts his epic entrepreneurial escapades—from crash landing planes in Mississippi fields to flying naked skydivers over Haulover Beach. Bob's done it all, and he's got the stories to prove it!
